Four ESG Indices

Hang Seng Indexes Company (HSIC) launches four ESG indices to provide more sustainable investment options.

The ESG indices launched this time mainly focuses on the A-share market and is based on the existing Hang Seng Stock Connect China A 300 Index to incorporate ESG factors into the investment portfolio. The Hang Seng Stock Connect China A 300 Index selects listed companies listed in the mainland and ranked among the top 300 in total market capitalization.

Hang Seng Stock Connect China A ESG Leaders Index

Hang Seng Stock Connect China A ESG 50 Index

The Hang Seng Stock Connect China A 300 ESG Index and the Hang Seng Stock Connect China A 300 ESG Enhanced Index incorporate ESG factors into the Hang Seng Stock Connect China A 300 Index, while the Hang Seng Stock Connect China A ESG Leaders Index and Hang Seng Stock Connect China A ESG 50 Index reflect the performance of the 50 companies with the best ESG performance. The new ESG indices use a variety of ESG data to meet investors’ sustainability requirements.
